The Toddlers continue to explore their environment. With developmentally appropriate lessons we strive to stretch their imaginations and teach needed life skills. Toilet Training is one of those necessary life skills! When your child is developmentally ready to begin training, the 2’s teachers will become part of your team. Scheduling a meeting with the teacher will be the 1st step. It is our goal to help you have your child completely trained and ready to enter the Multi-Age classes the next school year. The age range in this classroom goes from young 2’s to early 3’s. As the children grow, their lesson plans will expand developmentally. This class has weekly themes and all activities and lessons are planned around the theme. Each day the children have flexible, but structured Jesus time, Language Arts, Math, and Science lessons. In addition, they will be going outside twice a day and will have plenty of center time. Sometime between 32 and 36 months your child may begin to transition into the 3 year old program.
