The leadership of Good Shepherd is designed after the Cord of Three, in which three cords are bound and strengthened through each other. The cords are:
- The Board of Elders, appointed over the spiritual well being of the church, its members and appointed leaders.
- The Board of Directors, elected GSLC members who oversee the business of the Church and act as advocates for members on business matters.
- The Staff, which are tasked with the daily work and implementation of the Church's goal and mission, which is to be a real presence of Christ in the Community.
